No Coca Cola here. These are prepared drinks, and amazing tasting.
 A pair of swans off the east side of Fornebu It remains cold in Oslo, but some birds are trying to go north. The bays on the Oslo fjord are still frozen over, but the main body of the fjord is open water. A number of swans have shown up, seemingly unable to go further north yet.
The dogs were howling to get going, the people were doing too much standing around, and one kid in the back was as fired up as the dogs. Two minutes later the dog sled team was off.
 So, here is the statue of Saint Patrick in his cathedral in Dublin, Ireland.  And here is how most tourists see the "Irish" on Saint Patrick's Day...green leprechauns. But no matter how Irish you are, or how much green you wear...

Oslo is not known for beggers, but there are more every year. These seem poorly placed for walk-by traffic.
The real reason to visit Gronland... The most spectacular variety of fruits and vegetables in Norway.
 Glass-fronted building in bird central I am not sure exactly what this building is. But the sign and arrows point to the Riverside Ungdomshus, which is a teen center. Website is:
http://www.riverside.no/ and that is a most red website! But all the windows are most befouled by bird droppings (an example of the culprits is visible in the upper right of the photo). This area has scores of doves, ducks and gulls circling around, and this building's windows show the result of such. Hope they get those teens outside to clean the windows soon. 
It says, "We have good prices to all the world."
These are the folks to go to if you wish to hit Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia or other similarly fun vacation spots.
I am not a sky photographer, nor do I have the equipment for such things. But I used what I do have to take a couple photos of comet PANSTARRS. Living far north in Oslo, the comet is very low on the horizon, and only visible just after sunset. This means that the sky is still a bit bright, so no killer shot of a comet with a dark background. But it was really fun seeing the comet, and we had a scope on a tripod for a pretty good look, while freezing our fingers off. The temperature was 14 degrees Fahrenheit up on the hill where we set up for this.

To put in it in perspective, here is a shot with the moon and some foreground. The comet is visible just above the far right tree top.

Not the greatest spider shot ever. But Notice the fluorescent colors, which are so interesting in this little critter.
