Dr. Donald A. McFarlane
Don is one of my primary research partners, and worthy of a footnote here. He is a Professor of Biology at some combination of the Claremont Colleges under the lump of such folks known as the Joint Science Department. It is a sufficiently ambiguous position suitable for a full professor. Also of note, as one of the directors of the Firestone Center for Restoration Ecology, he has been involved with the Center since its birth. Caves have a bit more than a passing interest, especially when in foreign lands with some funding to bugger off for a few weeks. A good idea unfinished was this project.
