Little time tonight for such things, but here is another spider from Gunung Mulu National Park on the Malaysian side of Borneo.

I was away, but am back and am posting a pic of the black squirrel from Oakwood Cemetery, looking out it's hole.
After posting pics of white, gray, and black squirrels, I have been asked to photograph a jet black squirrel to complete the series. This is not easy, as I don't have a site where they are regular. Today I hit a site, the Oakwood Cemetary where I have seen black squirrels in the past. And, yes, found one. But it seems to be of the variety not jet black, but with reddish bits. After the squirrel saw me, it headed up a tree.
I have no idea what is going on here, nor do I recognize any of the folks involved. However, this seemed to be a very well set up video shoot with a very expensive camera and professional lighting. The first thing I noticed was a dude in an expensive suit putting on a Spiderman glove, outside of the US Supreme Court building. This did not seem quite the norm for this venue (see my last post). Next, they filmed a close-up of the glove. And this is the most odd bit. The lady on the left is holding a white sheet with a sketch of Doc Ock (Dr. Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus) one of the supervillians in the Spiderman series. My first thought was that they were using the white bit of the sketch for a light bounch, but then reminded myself of all the professional lights that were in place. Maybe a pan over to the sketch? I don't know, but it makes me wonder if this is something political or just a leak about the next Spiderman movie.
