6k Walk for Water

Walk for Water

So, for the last couple of years there has been a 6-kilometer walk in Washington, DC to stress the point that this is the average distance people around the globe have to walk to get clean water.  And, mostly it is women and children who make these regular treks to clean water.

It is a good point, and something I have seen to be true in places but...for more info here is the website:

However, I did take a few pics along the walk, which I hope are interesting.
