My last post on Accotink Park was too short on pics, although the fox pic was just about perfect. So here are a few more pics from the park.

Also in the trees was a kite. Always a sad kinda thing to see, as the story behind it is probably dripped in tears.
Ring-billed gull circling the lake.
A non-bird while searching the skies for real birds.
And then a double-crested cormorant flew by...
And on the ground, joggers with and without dogs roamed the trails.
And in the lake, junk. This lake has a huge program about how what you discard can end up in the waters, and it needs it.
The spillway is kinda cool, and there are giant logs hung over it.
A view of the tourist center of the park. It is a happening place in the summer, but pretty quiet otherwise.
