I have spent some fine time at Lake Fairfax Park, but never visited Baron Cameron Park just a block or two down the road. So I headed off there today to see it. Turns out it is an almost fully developed park with way more ball fields than forest (and the forest I did find was covered with mountain biking trails).
The Lake next door is not part of the park and has houses all around it, but I walked that trail as well. It was a fine walk for exercise, but pretty limited for interesting photos. Here's the total of my usable pics.
But note that I don't begrudge the use of the land, people need to do what they like. The housing development seemed incredibly environmentally astute and that is good.

This bluebird was sitting ten feet off the ground, But it was foraging on the ground. It would sit until it saw some food and then fly to the ground to eat it. Pretty efficient.
