Riverbend Park is in Fairfax County, VA, and free to visit (a $2 parking/visiting donation is suggested at a box outside the visitor's center). The park has a lot of Potomac River frontage, although fishermen will be surprised at how few places you actually can access the shoreline. But there are really good hiking trails both along the river and in the uplands, with a huge variety of wildlife and wildflowers to see.

I saw no interaction among the snakes, as they just seemed to all be going about their business without acknowledging the other snakes.
